NET Growth Movement

NET Growth Program provides 90 TAY participants (21+) in Alameda County financial assistance up to $1,000 per month for up to 24 months and a plethora of supports if they've had experience in foster care.  Another unique component of this project is the community building programs - such as solidarity dinners and peer learning circles - which are intended to ensure transition aged youth build social capital and personal networks which they have been prevented from accruing during their tumultuous experiences in the child welfare system.  The initial cohort is expected to start January 2023.
